The Sacred Circle Dance, Paneurythmy

by Ashtara

Given to the world by the Spiritual Master, Peter Duenov  (1864 ? 1944) of Bulgaria in the early 1900’s.   He founded the White Brotherhood, or Fellowship of Light, adopting his spiritual name of Beinsa Douno.    He was a composer, musician, author of over 7000 lectures and teacher of spiritual principles and practices. He foretold that Paneurythmy would spread throughout the western world after 1989 when Bulgaria would be finally free from 300 years of invasion. He encouraged his followers to dance regularly, particularly during the month of August in the Rila mountains of Bulgaria. This sacred dance, often called the dance of the Angels, is now practiced at many spiritual conferences, festivals and ceremonies around the world. Paneurythmy, meaning ‘rhythm of the cosmos’, reflects the movements of the solar system, our Creator's natural law, connecting the dancers with heaven and earth. It brings feelings of peace, balance and unity to participants. It is a very subtle healing dance as it opens, energizes and balances the energy centers of the body. Most people experience a renewed sense of well-being as well as waves of emotion, especially joy and love, when dancing.

Ashtara’ story:

"In 1995 I attended a one-day workshop to learn about this sacred circle dance. I had an incredible experience during the dance when my heart and soul opened and I saw myself dancing in some ancient temple in a beautiful white Grecian type gown adorned with a gold belt.  Never before had I experienced a spontaneous ‘past life’ recall.  My soul was touched so deeply and my heart so full of joy that I purchased a book and a tape and valiantly tried to practice by myself during the following year.  Being urged on by my inner guidance I traveled to the Rila mountains of Bulgaria in 1996 to spend three weeks camping at an altitude of 2500 m so that I could really learn and experience the dance in all its beauty and elegance. My love for it grew.  I met some wonderful people, all of whom were drawn to practice the dance, learn of the master’s teachings and experience the magic of the mountains and sacred lakes.

At this time there were people from more than 50 countries dancing, each one taking it back to their country of origin.  It was an incredible sight to see nearly a thousand people dancing beside a sacred lake, all dressed in white, some with gold belts just as I had seen in my vision of the previous year.  Each year there are more and more people drawn to visit Bulgaria to participate in the Paneurythmy experience. Since that time I have taught the dance regularly; locally, interstate and overseas.  During the May 2000 line-up of planets in Taurus at the inaugural Wesak Australia spiritual conference in Sydney, over 300 people participated in the dance.  It was an incredibly moving and uniting experience.  At the Wesak spiritual conference in Coolangatta, Queensland, May, 2001 over 150 enjoyed the experience.  At Wesak 2002 Uluru, in the central heart of Australia, there will be another wonderful opportunity for many to experience the love and unity generated by this special dance.  See ‘Notice Board’ for further information.

In June 2001, along with a group of women, I traveled to South America specifically to visit the sacred sites of Bolivia and Peru and dance the sacred circle dance Paneurythmy at Macchu Piccu on the winter solstice. One of the women in the group had the gift of vision and saw where priestesses from another time had danced similarly on special astrological occasions.  Through her vision we chose the exact place to honor Mother Earth by bringing through the cosmic energies generated by this celebratory dance.  It was a very heart-opening and soul stirring experience.  We were each elevated by the high frequency of the sacred place and our hearts were touched deeply when one of the dancers received the message and vision of Paccamama, the Andean name for Mother Earth, thanking us for our loving service. In  2002, I will again travel to these sacred sites and offer the dance at the winter solstice, in celebration and appreciation of nature and our Prime Creator.  If you soul is stirred by this mission click on ‘Tours to Sacred Sites’ for further details.

It gives me the greatest of pleasure to teach Paneurythmy to those who want to learn.  I do not charge for this service and I am willing to travel to other areas where there is sufficient interest.  The purpose of this dance is best explained in the words of the Spiritual Master, Beinsa Duono." I want to show you a path ? to give you a method by which you can put yourself in touch with the Prime Cause inherent in all things in creation ? The Wholeness of Life ? God".

He gave this method, this dance, as a gift of love to all mankind.    I now offer it to you from my heart, with love.  Ashtara
