Opening our Hearts to the Universe

Once we have begun to let go of our fears, we can gradually become aware of the endless and literally infinite possibilities of discovery and learning awaiting in the innermost secret part of us. Through the umbilical cord of our consciousness linking us with the entire universe and its inexhaustible pool of knowledge, we can have direct access to the most precise and expert source of information and guidance available. Of course, we cannot receive an information for which we are not ready nor can we browse aimlessly into this gigantic "memory bank" of the universe. A "key" is needed and a "password" must be presented to the "door keeper".

This key, one will easily guess, is Love. For the heart must be unlocked to allow a free flow of energy from the universal Force of Life into us, which is the only way to raise our vibratory level and thus bring our consciousness in synchronization with the Universal Consciousness. Then, our "password" will be our humble request for a specific clue to a specific question, a request that should include not only our own concerns but also integrate some of the general concerns of Humanity as a whole.

When we have gained access to this universal field of consciousness, we will spontaneously receive a flow of information that is perfectly attuned and adapted to the present need and discover how right our intuition was -- provided we do not let doubt creep back in our mind and prevent us from acting upon the newly received information. There are various types of experiences we can gradually become familiar with once we have started discovering the endless possibilities of our soul connections. Let us describe some of them.

First, there is some highly significant information about ourselves and our role in this lifetime that usually comes at the climax of an intense meditation, when most of our daily preoccupations have fallen far in the background of our attention, thus allowing an almost totally free space of attention within us to explore new frontiers and touch new subjects. On those rare moments, we can experience a fully aware connection with the Universal Consciousness and identify with the deepest reality of our beingness. We can glimpse what is coming next on our path of evolution and have some very powerful visions and communions that will be key catalysts of change and evolution as well as a constant source of inspiration in our everyday life. We might also experience an incredibly fast infusion of new ideas and concepts that are seeded in a flash within our mind and whose complete significance and impact will be only gradually manifested in the following days, months and even years, as we unlock bit by bit the exact and full meaning of the whole vision.

Secondly, we can experience, on a lower level of attunement with the cosmic matrix of information, various insights and inspirations spontaneously coming to our mind in relation to some specific problems we have or some specific situation we face in our life. Those intuitive guidances usually come along with very pleasant bursts of "scintillating" energy along with a feeling of elation in the body which are there to support and confirm the validity and importance of the information given out to our attention. The more the information suggested is important for us on our evolutionary path, the more those accompanying sensations are strong and ecstatic. The more also they are clear and easily understandable whether they are in the form of spoken words in our mind or of vivid, explicit images.

Finally, and most importantly, we can be constantly receiving a flow of information in our day to day and even minute to minute activities and feel through our intuitive sense of rightness or wrongness if what we are thinking, saying or doing is the right thing to think, say or do at this exact moment in time. This is a very precise reference for assessment and self-adjustment that often goes on unnoticed. Being aware of this nearly "instinctive" selection process while we are saying something for instance, can greatly help us to be responsive to all the hidden subliminal information that we continually receive through our five senses as well as through our "sixth" sense, the telepathic, ultra-sensitive one, which can detect the reactions of other people to our words or attitude and immediately adjust for the best the ideas we are trying to communicate.

When someone becomes very sensitive to this inner guiding system and responds quickly to its indications and promptings, it is possible to modify an idea being expressed even while this idea is in the process of being formulated. But of course, this means being totally open to this inner guiding intuition and in total symbiosis with it, and, above all, not being attached to any personal and strongly held idea. If we tend to stick to a specific set of ideas and conceptions, then it will be hard to be flexible enough to allow for the interactive participation of our spiritual connections with the Universe. So there is always a total free will in this process. Everything depends on our willingness to let go of our resistance and open ourselves to the flow of communication with the universal Intelligence of Life at work within and around us.

Once we have become familiar with those various types of experiences that can help us and guide us on our Path towards the Light, we can literally tap at any time the infinite source of universal Knowledge and gradually discover all the powers available to us when we accept to serve the Great Purpose of Life in Its unfolding eternal evolution. We can become channels for the perfect manifestation of this Grand Design which for aeons has guided the countless expressions of the creative potential of Life: billions and billions of Life forms, not only on this tiny planet but, undoubtedly, upon billions and billions of other planets, everywhere in this prodigious Universe.

Barely emerging from the first chapters of evolution on this planet, our collective awareness is now expanding at an unprecedented pace, like a sudden explosion of consciousness, as the scientists unveil the mysteries of the physical world and as the spiritualists push back the limits of our perception of the spiritual worlds. And we are on the verge of an even more rapid and fascinating expansion of awareness as more and more people are opening their hearts to the inner guiding Light of Love and compassion for all that lives, thus discovering their immortal and sacred Link with the whole Universe... and all Life forms.

"We look back through countless millions of years and see the great will to live struggling out of the intertidal slime, struggling from shape to shape and from power to power, crawling and then walking confidently upon the land, struggling generation after generation to master the air, creeping down into the darkness of the deep; we see it turn upon itself in rage and hunger and reshape itself anew, we watch it draw nearer and more akin to us, expanding, elaborating itself, pursuing its relentless inconceivable purpose, until last it reaches us and its being beats through our brain and arteries...

It is possible to believe that all the past is but the beginning of a beginning, and that all that is and has been is but the twilight of the dawn. It is possible to believe that all that the human mind has ever accomplished is but the dream before the awakening...

Out of our... lineage, minds will spring, that will reach back to us in our littleness to know us better than we know ourselves. A day will come, one day in the unending succession of days, when beings, beings who are now latent in our thoughts and hidden in our loins, shall stand upon this Earth as one stands upon a footstool, and shall laugh and reach out their hands amidst the stars."
